The IFB Women’s Forum is designed to facilitate the opportunity for female members of family owned businesses to network, exchange knowledge and be inspired. The inaugural meeting, which was held last September, was extremely well received.

Conflict within any family can be disruptive and divisive, but in a business owning family, where there are multiple stakeholders, it can tear both the family and the business apart. Often, it is the female members who are left to act as go-betweens and peace makers; in this IFB Women’s Forum we will hear about conflict in two family owned businesses and explore ways in which it can be avoided and managed. There will also be an opportunity to raise other family business issues for roundtable discussion; please feel free to forward topics to Huw Davies (huw.davies@ifb.org.uk) in advance of the meeting, should you not wish to raise these yourself.

Please email melissa.mays@ifb.org.uk or telephone Melissa on 020 7630 6250 to register your attendance.

We are most grateful to Patricia Milner and Withers LLP for generously hosting this meeting.

The IFB Women's Forum is reserved for the female IFB membership and invited guests only. Please contact Melissa Mays if you would like to attend.
