We are delighted that John Timpson has agreed to be our guest speaker. Five generations of Timpsons have been involved in the business that bears their name and John is the great grandson of the Founder, William Timpson. Now one of the most familiar brands on the high street, Timpson has over 550 branches nationwide with services including locksmiths, photo processing, The Watch Workshop and of course shoe repairs. His book ‘Dear James’ passes on to his son the lessons learnt in 30 years as a chief executive. He is a regular contributor to Real Business and the Sunday Times – a collection of the articles have been published under the title ‘Cobbled Together’. The evening will provide you with an excellent opportunity to meet members of other business owning families and discuss issues of mutual interest.
