Founded in 1798 in Liverpool, Boodles has become a jewellery brand that can compete with the best in the world. Six generations on, Boodles remains a family owned company now employing 100 people. The realization of a long-cherished family dream became reality when Boodles opened its New Bond Street store in 2007 and with Jody and James (the next generation) now immersed in the company the future of Boodles looks assured. But what have been the lessons learned along the way and what are the challenges that lie ahead? Nicholas will share his insights and thoughts on these and other topics and you will have the opportunity to see, from beginning to end, the process that goes into creating some of the most beautiful jewels in the world. As well as a tour of the business, there will be a Q & A session and ample opportunity to meet other family business owners based in the North West.
