The Shepherd Neame Brewery dates back to 1698 and Jonathan assumed the role of Chief Executive in 2003; he attended Pembroke College Cambridge and qualified as a barrister before joining the family business, initially as Company Secretary, in 1991. Shepherd Neame now has some 396 pubs across the South East with 85% of the beer sold being brewed by the company in Faversham. The evening will also include a roundtable discussion on some of the issues with which family businesses are confronted during these turbulent times.
