Keng-Fun has over 25 years of experience building teams and relationships with wealthy and business families in Asia, Europe, and the U.S.. With close to 20 years at Citi, she is a veteran in communicating complex concepts to a broad spectrum of clients through her senior roles as market head, head of customer experience, and marketing director for their offshore banking business. A certified trainer, Keng-Fun was involved in the design and delivery of leadership, sales, and customer service training programs to develop high-performing teams to acquire and keep highly satisfied clients.
From Citi, she left to join Credit Suisse as head of marketing for Asia Pacific. She later became a Senior Advisor at Standard Chartered Bank to support its new wealth management transformation strategy.
Keng-Fun has been harnessing her skills to employ new ways of creating awareness of and providing access to impactful family business education. Besides advising business families and companies in Asia, Europe, the U.S., and the Middle East on communication and planning, she is Managing Partner of Family and Business Learning and works with co-founder Professor Randel Carlock of INSEAD. She was the program director for the Financial Times' first Family Business Forum. She researches and contributes articles about family business to publications that include Singapore’s Business Times and the South China Morning Post in Hong Kong. A Family Business on the Moon is her first book.
She holds the Family Firm Institute (FFI) Certificate in Family Business Advising and is a member of the FFI Asian Circle study group. Keng-Fun has a master's degree in finance and investments from the University of Hull. Born and currently based in Singapore, Keng-Fun was educated in English and Mandarin, and speaks Cantonese at home.
