The IFB is delighted to announce the appointment of William Notcutt, Notcutts Ltd, as the new Chair for the East of England. A 4th generation family member, entrepreneur and strong advocate of the important role family firms play in the communities, he will play a key role in supporting family businesses in the region.
William takes over from Nicholas Bewes, The Howard Group, who throughout the years as East Chair has made an invaluable contribution to the family business sector and the development of the IFB's activities and presence in the region.
Commenting on William's appointment, Nicholas said: "It has been a privilege to be the IFB regional chair in the eastern region over the past 9 years. Over the years I have greatly enjoyed working alongside other like-minded businesses and individuals, learning much from their unique experiences and their family business heritage.
I am delighted that William has agreed to take on this vital role in the region. His considerable experience of family business, coupled with detailed knowledge and involvement with the IFB since its formation, makes him an excellent appointment. I look forward to continuing to support William and the IFB in the region and beyond as together we continue to serve and support a vital contributor to the UK economy. I wish him well in this new role."
Elizabeth Bagger, IFB Executive Director, said: "I'm delighted to welcome William as our new Chair of the IFB in the East of England.
