Enterprising Families Forum
We know that as families and businesses grow, they can develop additional layers of complexity. Some families seek to keep family and business matters separate, while others think holistically about their activities as a family in business together. That can include their businesses, investments, philanthropy, and governance.
To support families who are looking at how to create, and manage, long lasting family enterprises we have established the IFB Enterprising Families Forum.
At our first meeting (January 2019) we looked at different approaches and strategies families adopt, how they have been managing the process and the challenges involved in setting up their enterprising activities, including investments, philanthropy, property and more. At our second meeting (April 2019) we explored different approaches and challenges to stewarding wealth across the generations.
In later meetings we’ll discuss other key topics including continual adaptation and resilience; innovation; next generation. These meetings are kindly hosted by IFB member Weatherbys.
