On Tuesday a group of family business owners gathered in the North East to learn about the history, sustainability journey and future plans of 90-year-old family firm Thomas Swan & Co Ltd. Harry Swan, family Managing Director since 2006, shared how, combining long lived values and an enduring commitment to innovation, the family firm has managed to become more resilient, boosting its financial efficiency and performance, customer demand, employee engagement and environmental responsibility.
